I will dominate 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
